Founded in 2012; The Unity Numismatic Society collects and studies coins, paper, and other related objects that serves as currencies throughout the world. Unity Numismatics will soon expand its disciplines to includes the broader study of money and other payment media used to resolve debts and the exchange of goods (i.,e. electronic payment systems) Although the terms has been used since 1828, most consider this scholarly study to still be in its infancy, Unity Numismatic Society hopes that its displays and education forums bridges the gaps of curiosity, oddity and academics. Numismatics tell the story of a nations independence, progress in industry, technology, socialism and economics—yet maintain an unparallel beauty that leads the spectator into a realm of political awareness and cultural identity.
